Resources for ADHD teens are in great demand with little available. The following page has resources and ideas that might help you and your teen succeed in school and at home while learning Executive Functioning Skills.
How to use the Schedule: Print out a Blank Schedule for your teen which includes space for morning and evening routines, chores, 5 subjects, projects due, and extra-curricular activities including a work schedule. I recommend printing out the Sample Schedule to aid you in filling in the blank schedule.
Record your teen's scheduled activities in the available place to help them keep track of those activities teaching time management. Fill in chores and tasks that your teen does each weekday.
Keep Schedule and Task Lists on a clipboard or in a notebook stored in a central place such as the kitchen. Your teen can then carry their clipboard/notebook around as they do their chores/school work and have a step-by-step description of what is expected of them.
Your teen should circle the day of the week they have completed tasks with M T W TH F, and place an X or a check mark in boxes beside chores, tasks and school work. Do not neglect daily devotions and Scripture memorization. Permission is granted to print out and copy for your own personal use only.

Even teens need to have Chores and Tasks broken down into smaller parts. Paired with a personal digital timer to give a time frame for tasks and chores, these directions should help your teen keep on task and do an excellent job. These Task Lists are placed on teen's clipboard under schedule to refer to as needed. These are just examples of the chores and summer school assignments for my teens. Your teens will have their own chores appropriate to their ages and abilities. Use Notepad or any word processor to create your own Task Lists. For visual learners, you can use clip art to illustrate the task.
